No tablets, no reimbursement. Very disappointed. They have lost a customer. I will not be recommending GearBest anymore.

I had ordered stuff on GearBest before and things didn't go smoothly for everything the first time but as it was recommended by an IT friend, I assumed it would go well. That was a couple of years ago. In December 2022 I ordered two tablets and with much toing and froing from their support staff, nothing came of it. I have not received my tablets or been reimbursed. Do not use them, they are not reliable. A pity.

Ordered two drones separately

Ordered two drones separately, one was credited to my account, now that money is gone and second drone hasn’t showed up and they won’t answer emails, so total, I’m out about $400 dollars.

Waiting for my order for 5 months

I've made an order and paid on January 1st and still (May 7th) haven't got what I've ordered. I tried to cancel my order and asked for a refund but they just kept buying time and offered me some points for future purchases on their webshop.
Update - they will provide me full refund after all so I raise my rating.

Scammers

Scammers. Bought an electric scooter that stopped working after a few months to which they replied electric scooters were not covered by warranty (scooter was used 3 times).
Low grade product with an impossible to read user manual (absolutely trash translation).
Dodgy business model. Low quality products and service. I'll avoid like the plague. Shouldn't be legally allowed to operate in the European Union market if they don't abide by its laws. I regret everyday that I didn't escalate this to the small claims court.

Horrible experience!

I ordered a cell phone ( Global Version 2022 New I13 Pro Max 6.7 inch 16GB+512GB 6800mAh 4G/5G Network Unlock Dual SIM Android Smartphones - Blue China ) with a 50% discount (from 165,60 to 82,79€). The experience has been horrible, the technical features described are far from the actual operation of the phone: no instructions for use, the battery runs out in the day with little use, loading web pages very slowly while the wifi is excellent, the keyboard is horrible ... A scam, nobody buy it!

refunds have arrived ! :-) [final update]

[final update] all my refunds have now arrived at my bank! I don't know if this trustpilot review got their attention, but I am now satisfied, and I wish them lots of luck for the somewhat uncertain future.

[update again] they may have problems keeping the website up, but my one of my refunds just arrived, I should be more trusting :-)

[update... dead again, and probably noone will trust them even if they try and start up again]

Website (and support website) was DEAD for the last 24 hours but they are now alive again. I was quite worried!

I still have no refunds for items I paid for in APRIL and were never sent.

I don't know what to think - some are saying that their parent company is bankrupt (see cnx-software dot com

They are a disgraceful company to work…

They are a disgraceful company to work with I ordered product from them 2.5 years ago, the product was not available so I have been asking for a refund since then. More recently they have said they are unable to refund me but want to give me credit instead but I have absolutely no confidence in their organisation. Don't use them to purchase goods their ae far better sites with far better customer service

SCAMMER ALERT!!! DONT BUY FROM THIS STORE

About 3 months ago I bought new electric bike, seller sent me and it was really bad, alot of scratches, defected controller and etc. Decided to contact seller and got ignored for 3 months after finally they replied to me that I can send it back for a refund and guess what? I shipped and now they claim that they didnt get it, even tho DPD provides that seller contact person received it :)) Dont buy, worst store ever.

Absolute disaster

Absolute disaster. My order is taking too much time to arrive, nobody responds to tickets, my tracking is not provided, now I can't even create another ticket, because my order is not showing up on the creating page. Either give me my money back, OR at least provide tracking information. Maybe it didn't even shipped out, even tho it shows it did (i doubt it)

I ordered a tablet on 06/06/2021

UPDATE: I just wanted to let you know that my tablet arrived on 15/07/2021 and I am very happy with my purchase. The parcel was packed very well and arrived intact. I am going to order another one as a present for my husband. Thank you Teclast store! and Thank you GearBest!
I ordered a tablet on 06/06/2021, which is not even packed yet as shown on the website. I contacted the seller - Teclast official store - to ask why they are not processing my order, which I paid already. I was told that ''Because of the impact of COVID-19, most of the overseas shipping stopped.'' If someone from GearBest is reading these reviews, I would like to ask WHY is this NOT stated on your website so clients can read it BEFORE THEY ORDER AND PAY? WHY? Your clients deserve to know that overseas shipping stopped in China so they can made an informed choice if they are willing to wait or decide not to order at all?!

You may not receive items you order

Avoid Gearbest at all costs - you may not receive items you order. And when that happens, Gearbest customer support does nothing to help. Their claims about money back guarantee or exceptional customer service are completely false. It is a very unreliable company - avoid avoid avoid.

I have asked for refund 20 times already and still have not received it. It is just a waste of my time.

I will be suing Gearbest on order I have not received.

Avoid at all costs - just scummy

I finally gave up and stopped ordering crappy products from them 3 years ago. At the start, they weren't too bad, but I finally figured out that they were shipping gear that probably didn't pass quality control, getting rid of it in this fashion. They would never give a refund to anything but your gearbest wallet, and after losing a bunch of money in the wallet, and no response to my queries, I gave up. Avoid at all costs

Don't be ripped off like me

They will NOT refund me the money out of My G wallet of $45.32 I have been trying for over 1 year now. I have done everything they have asked me to do many times over.The Support Centre keep replying with the same old messages. ( We recently received your message on gearbest. Customer satisfaction is always our top priority: we are always extremely happy to provide the very best support to customers.

Order not shipped and website is down.

I ordered a watch on august 19th and it is still not shipped and now the website is down so I don’t even know how to contact Gearbest anymore and I even tried contacting the seller too but I didn’t get a reply back there as well. I tried submitted a ticket before as well but it would not let me enter the order number and therefore I couldn’t complete the form to submit it. Gearbest please do something about it fast.

Many orders over the years

Over the years I have made a fair few orders from Gearbest. Gearbest is a genuine site.

Gearbest have a lengthy shipping time, and a lot of people do not like wait, so when ordering this is something that you need to be mindful of. Expect to be waiting 2-weeks for your order.

There was a lengthy wait for a pre ordered phone, but it eventually arrived after a few months. This was the Elephone A4 Pro, Gearbest appologised for the delay.

There was a vaping device that turned up dead on arrival, when informing them of the faulty product I was refunded. I think it was called Amigo.

Another vape device, Invader 2/3 in Purple, turned up faulty and again they refunded me for the product. I went ahead and ordered another one in silver and this one arrived in working order.

I did order a couple of other phones from them, they all arrived after a few weeks in good working order. One was the Uhans I8 Pro, the other one was a cheap red one, which I still have somewhere.

Overall my experience with Gearbest has been a pleasant one.

Avoid, terrible customer service

Ordered an item from them (electric scooter), had faults and after contacting them they promised partial refund (covering repair costs) which I agreed to but the refunds never came through and they stopped answering any follow up emails. I tried reaching out to them many times through their ticketing system but no answer. AVOID this company, you'd rather pay a bit more for an item that provides better customer service/ after care.
