Lefant Vacuum

Hi,
Is there anything about Lefant integration ?
We find a lot of their vaccums on Amazon
I got the T700 one.

Thank you

Little up
They have Alexa and Google Home assistant

Hello @exyl, did you find anything on this brand?

Hi,
Nothing yet :frowning:

I believe this device connects with a branded tuya app - have you tried integrating through tuya?

(I’m still between smartthings and HA right now and don’t want to do anything to upset my existing tuya registration through alexa)

Some idea for this modell?

Can confirm this in fact did the trick for me.

Hi 6strings,
I tried but failed.
Can you explain how did you done?

YMMV but this is what I did…

First i downloaded the Lefant Life app and tried setting it up that way. That was successful, except no HA integration. I had to research a few items because I had 2 different things telling me to use different apps. I came across a piece of info that indicated Lefant Life was a branded Tuya app. This is where the fun begins (or doesn’t; again your mileage may vary).

Follow the instructions here (Tuya - Home Assistant) for the Tuya integration. I followed them step by step. For me that worked perfectly. Once you’ve added the app account from the Lefant Life app and the account is imported, complete the rest of the steps. What will happen is the vacuum will no longer appear in the Lefant Life app and will show in the Tuya app. That’s what worked for me. I can now see and access it in HA (and infact use a blueprint I downloaded fot scheduling when the vacuum runs.)

Thank you.
I follow all steps, but when I tried to import my Lefant account, it failed.

I do this:
From tuya website, click on Add app account.
Open my Lefant account on my iphone, select profil, and scan QR
Try to scan QR on Tuya website, and failed (see pic).
If I scan QR from Tuya app, it works. But I have no device.
I have Central Europe Datacenter selected. As you ?

Were you able to set it up in the Lefant app first? I had to get it set up there first. When you add the app account on the Tuya site, you should be adding the lefant app account. Try the Link My App tab. What should happen is when you successfully add the account, the vacuum will no longer show in the Lefant app but will show in the Smart Life app.

Thanks.
From lefant app, I forgot my T700, and I add it in Tuya app successfully
So, I can go forward.

Hi, I’ve the same problem, I try to add Lefant app account in the Tuya site (the vacuum is already right configured in Lefant app), i scan the qr code from Lefant app on my mobile, and it appear me the message “please use the designated app to scan the code to log in”. If i try to scan from SmartLife app it works… but i havent the vacuum there…
How do you solved the problem?

You skip Lefant application altogether and add the vacuum using Tuya app. You would need to have a Tuya account obviously, also you need to configure Tuya integration in HA.

Yes.
Remove your vaccum in SmartLife.
Follow all instructions to have an account in Tuya, and from Tuya app, scan for new device: your vacuum.
It found my T700.
With the Custom vaccum card, I had it on Lovelace

Hi,
I also have a T700 from Lefant. My HA instance also detects Tuya device in the network, but for config I have to add the device first in the Developer Cloud via Smart Life or Tuya App.

Unfortunately, I don’t get the T700 paired in either app. Even if I have previously unpaired the device in the Lefant Life app.

Is there any tip?

Hi,
I had problem pairing the Lefant with the Tuya App, the trick is not to use the default setting and add device manually.

Add device > Small Home Appliances > Robot Vacuum (Wifi) >
press button for pairing mode and choose AP mode(it will blinked as EZ mode).

If you have problem, do everything over again. You need to choose the instruction for AP mode, else it will not work.

Thank you SO SO much randomsnack…That worked for me with my Lefant M1 robot vacuum. All the controls and more also. I’ll try to replicate over onto my LocalTuya setup but this seems actually very responsive so far to the settings by cloud for once!

Hi everyone, I added my new Lefant M1 via the tuya app and successfully connected to Home assistant.

I can’t use the Tuya app to set the x2 count in a certain area.

Has anyone had the same problem as me?

Thank you

Hi, integration working fine with Lefant F1 model. I was wondering if there’s a way to visualize battery level inside lovelace?
